Over 60 years ago Jim Wade started working in the automotive industry which saw him become a commercial traveller in sales, during his travels to the far reaches he discovered his love for Australia – it’s landscapes and it’s people.
As a sideline Jim started repairing car jacks as a qualified fitter and turner, he then went on to design and build his first engine lifting crane. Within two years Jim and his wife Bridget made the decision to set up a larger scale manufacturing operation, hence J&B Wade was born as a family business.
Following his original designs, Jim stands by the quality of his product and prides himself on being a family owned Australian company. J & B Wade manufacture to strict Australian Standards offering honest, down to earth sales and service.
